Family & Fish

So here's a curly one for you:
My Great-Grandfather's brother, has a Great-Grandson who is also named Philip Goldfinch!!
So anywho, he lives in England these days and he and his Aunt (who was the one who contacted me), Uncle and his brother came out from the UK for his Grandfathers 90th birthday! Philip's parents also made the trip to Sydney from their property in Western Australia, near Perth. And so it was that I took my trip from The Horn' to Coogee on Thursday night for a lovely dinner and a catch-up of sorts. It was a lovely night and a great chance to see relatives that are distant relations but also seem so close.

Today Kristin, Charlotte and I ventured into the City to the Sydney Aquarium. A tip for anyone who is thinking of going, book online. The line for entry would have cost us at least 20 minutes but seeing as Kristin had pre-paid, we were able to go to the front of the line and walk right in!!!!!!!! You have no idea how much of a Godsend this was seeing as we had a 2 year-old and all.

So here are some pics:

2 years on...

Well as life goes by so do the 'milestones', this one being the 2nd Birthday stage for our first-born.
We have been winding down over the past week or so but we still have heaps of things to be doing around the house (all the usual).

Here are some pics from the weekend. Charlotte's 'Boys' are her friends from our Ante-natal class.
