Arrive in Frankfurt Am Main - Köln (Cologne)

Our German mate Nils (you'll see him in the video below standing next to Kristin) woke up at 2am to catch a train to meet us at the airport! After a few jet-lagged minutes of trying to find a lift to where we needed to be, we got our Volvo and were on our way. The photo below was taken on our last day but really should be at the beginning of the trip.

We (Kristin navigated and I drove all but 1 day (made a good pair and covered just over 3000 kms in the 3 weeks)) made our way up the Rhine to Cologne

We met up with Andrea after her first job interview (she got the job btw) and cruised around Cologne. A spot of shopping (didn't buy anything), icecream and just some good general site-seeing.

We're Back

Back from our trip to germany.

All went well. Could not have asked for a better driving holiday to Germany with a partner and a two-year-old.
